Common questions

Can I copy trades across several Apex Trader Funding accounts?

Yes. You trade one lead account and every fill is mirrored to the follower accounts you choose. Each follower has its own position size and its own risk rules, so a $50,000 evaluation and a $150,000 funded account can follow the same trade at different contract counts.

Can I copy between Apex Trader Funding and a different prop firm?

Yes. A copier class can hold accounts at different firms and on different platforms at the same time. The lead can be at one firm and the followers at several others.

How do I connect an Apex Trader Funding account?

Apex Trader Funding accounts can connect either through Tradovate or through Rithmic, depending on which platform your account was issued for. Use whichever your firm gave you credentials for.

Does Traders Prism track Apex Trader Funding's drawdown rules?

Not yet. We copy trades to Apex Trader Funding accounts and enforce any risk rules you configure, but we do not currently hold Apex Trader Funding's own rule tables, so the account will not appear on Mission Control's drawdown board. Detailed rules exist for Topstep, Apex, Tradeify, Lucid, Alpha, Equity Edge, Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures, Bulenox, Leeloo Trading, Elite Trader Funding, Goat Funded Futures, Earn2Trade, Funded Futures Network, UProfit, Legends Trading, FundedSeat, E8 Markets Futures, TickTickTrader, BluSky Trading, Phidias Propfirm and OneUp Trader.

What happens if one account hits its limit?

Whatever you told it to do. Risk rules run per account and can warn you, block new entries, flatten the position, or lock the account out for the rest of the session. A lock is written down rather than held in memory, so it survives a restart.
